System being installed is a Domestic hot water/ Hydroinic heating package. System includes 2 x Latento Tanks with 4 x Evacuated solar tube collectors with Gas boost. System will provide a 100% of Hot Water requirements and heat 230m2 of floor heating.

The Annual savings will be 75% of the total energy costs per year.

Mornington-Hobart Tasmania

Affordable housing Project; Systems being installed into these
homes in with conjunction with insulation to minimize heat lose and
achieving a 5star rating.1 x Latento Tank with 2 x banks
of Evacuated solar tubes with gas boost .System will provide 100%
hot water requirements with heating of 140m2 offloor heating.

The Annual savingson Energy costs will be 80%

This project is a total renervation of the family home which cosisted of adding a top floor as well as extending the ground floor living area. The system that has been installed into this home is a Solar hot water / Hydronic heating / pool heating package. The system is made up of 1 x latento with 2 x Evacuated Solar tubes with a gas boost with a added tytainum heatexchanger to heat the pool. It will provde 100% of the hot water requirements and heat 220m2 of floor area. The system also has a manual swich to give the client the abilitie to heat the pool as he needs to.

Wyong – Milk Factory

The milk factory is a heritage listed property that is being converted to a retail park that will accommodate a host of different retailers. Great care has been taken to maintain the integrity of the old buildings with the chosen materials used in the restoration. With this in mind the owners also wanted to utilise modern technology to harness the sun to reduce the running costs of the site as well as being a carbon neutral market. Urban energy was given a brief from the owners on what their requirements were and what objectives needed to be meet, So with this in mind Urban Energy designed a system that is a Australian first. We have installed 8 x 30tube solar collectors on a the main building integrating into a show piece of the entrance. Coupled to three Latento Solar tanks we create thermal mass which maximizes our solar contribution. As well as the ability to maintain 100% solar for our hot water use we have installed a chillii ® adsorption chiller to capture the excess thermal energy to be run through a fan coil to run the air conditioning for the coffee shop .With the introduction of this system the savings of the sites carbon footprint has been reduced by 7,792 Kg/ Co2 or the equivalent to planting 1,920 trees

Cobaw - Victoria

This home is an Architectural designed home with a rural setting has been built with the idea of using as mush renewable energy as possible. Because of the location there is no Natural gas with only option being bottled LPG which is not cost effective. With this in mind the system that has been installed will maximize the solar contribution. The Clients requirements were to heat 200m2 of flooring as well as providing the Hot water needs of the property. The system installed comprised of one Latento Tank 5 evacuated solar tubes panels with a gas boost with in slap floor heating. This system will provide a 100% of the clients heating and domestic hot water needs with a very rare need to boost.

Manly - Sydney

The system comprises of 2 x 500 XXl Latento tanks with 2 x Gas boosters with no solar contribution. The system is capable of delivery 2921 litres in the first hour with a continuos flow rate of 1924 litres every hour their after.

MLC School Burwood is currently undertaking a major transformation of the school facilities.
The school master planners are currently working on how they can make the schools campus more user friendly, Finding better ways that give the students easer access to the schools resources .Part of this master plan is what new facilities are most important, and how they can build in flexibility to make MLC a true School of the future.
With this in mind the Architects wanted to incorporate a solar component to the infrastructure of the Hot water system for the new facility. What was designed was a system that comprises of Two Sunda Evacuated Solar Collectors that will generate 6,570Kw of energy per year of energy. We have also installed 2 x Latento Storage tanks that will store the Solar hot water at 50Deg temperature before passing it though to a Gas boiler that there fore has to only take care of a 10 Deg heat rise.
With the introduction of this Solar hot water system it reduces the schools carbon footprint this saving is equal to planting 940 trees a year
The Solar contribution to the hot water system will be a yearly average of 70% of their hot water requirements
